Up and coming Nashville band, the Next Door Boys, is announcing the addition of its newest members who joined the band at the beginning of 2020. Hendersonville, TN native, Ethan Kress and Brentwood, TN resident, Kyle Harkins, have been added to the lineup of the Next Door Boys.
Ethan Kress brings experience as a front man and lead vocalist to the band after having worked with several bands during his vocal training and while at Cedarstone School of Music and Cedarstone Studios. Ethan offers a great vocal range, terrific stage presence and a great spirit for his band mates and fans alike. Ethan exemplifies the kind of character and values that this young band embraces. And he can rock it out with the best of them!
Kyle Harkins, an accomplished jazz guitarist and now bass player, brings a wealth of musical experience from his formal lessons, the Tennessee Mid-State Jazz competition and his experience in various musical competitions and recitals. While this is Kyle's first gigging band, he has jumped in with "all fours strings" and has worked hard to learn the extensive set list of the Next Door Boys.
The new members, and the "old timers" of the band, which was formed in January of 2017, performed at the grand re-opening of Wheeler's Raid Distillery on February 2, 2020. Wheeler's Raid opened to a crowd of nearly five hundred people!
Their energy, exuberance and musical skills rocked the crowd while they performed their classic rock set for the engagement.
In addition to Ethan and Kyle, the band includes founding members Matt Skoda on drums, Miles Morrow on lead guitar and Joe Larson on keys and backup vocals.
